enjoy?

Finally finished my forecasting of colour tone of Fall 2010 RTW collection of Dolce & Gabbana but it 's a pity that we need to do the assignment in this semester which might be the most busy semester in our 2 years ITC 's life. I think this project is supposed to be enjoyed but not having a rough time like now i 'm facing if we could meet this project in our leisure time.

As we all know, ITC is the most busy department within the whole POLYu . We don't really have much time to join those after-school activities in order to enrich our school life or let alone to become a real university student.

But I think it is worthwhile for us to be such a busy guy. Though we cannot have a various school life , we are well trained to be a talent that Robert has mentioned in the 3rd tutorial class before.
We might not read a book of Sigmund Freud when we sitted under the tree or being the chairperson of the Student Union but we also experienced a lot from what we are learning now.

Thanks Robert anyway, though i am too lazy on your subject but I still get something useful from your words and I will remember those words you have said in the 3rd tutorial class.

After analyzing those collection in the past of Dolce & Gabbana, I predict that Dolce & Gabbana will use Dark Magenta , Dark Red , Grey , Midnight Blue in 2010 fall RTW collection .

Black and White are included for sure. Both Black, White and Grey are essential colours in fashion. It is proper for designers to treats them as major colour of clothing. So, I wonder that Dolce & Gabbana will continue to use these three colours to complete the collection in the 2010 winter.




In 2006-2009, dark red and dark purple didn't appear in Dolce & Gabbana 's collection. The last time that Dolce & Gabbana use purple colour as a minor colour tone is in Spring 2005 RTW collection , it is possible that Dolce & Gabbana will use dark purple as their major colour tone in the coming fall season.

Dark red and Dark purple represents mystrey. And the image that Dolce & Gabbana gives us is that is mystery also. Dark purple is match with what Dolce & Gabbana presents.

Furthermore, using red color as a main colour in the collection is a habit of Dolce & Gabbana . Since it havn't red colour in serveral collections , so I have mentioned a reasonable forecast that Dolce & Gabbana would use Dark Red as a main colour in the coming fall collection.

Also, Dolce & Gabbana loves using Midnight Blue.Dolce & Gabbana has used Midnight Blue in Spring 2009, Fall 2009 as a minor colour tone in its collection. Midnight Blue is a nice colour when it acts as a foil . Trend goes by a tendency , that's why i choose to predict the fall RTW collection in 2010 will contain Midnight Blue.

what i think about Dolce & Gabbana

You can wear Dolce & Gabanna , if you want to be focused .You can wear Dolce & Gabanna , if u want to become boastful. You can talk about Dolce & Gabanna with your friends when they talk about fashion if you want to be stylish in their eyes.

For me , Dolce & Gabanna is a fashion brand that even I have enough money to buy , I would still fear that I can’t wear it well. My sensations for Dolce & Gabanna are showiness , resplendent and glamorous.

Since creations of Dolce & Gabanna are various, it is really difficult for us to forecast what colour tone and style it would like to use and take. But, we can still make some guess through analyzing the past collection of Dolce & Gabbana. Various are the point why Dolce & Gabbana is so attractive!



Fall 2009 RTW collection



Fall 2009 RTW collection of Dolce & Gabbana has used shocking pink , black and white as its major colour tone. Ballooning shoulder, furry stuffs, glamour satin , finery and Marilyn Monroe has been used in the collection. The collection is vainglorious undoubtedly.





Spring 2009 RTW collection



The colour tone of Spring 2009 RTW collection are Dark Red, Firebrick, Midnight Blue, Black and White. Silk pajamas which are spotted or striped , big poufy skirts , tiered-lace cardigans and gilded brocades has been appeared in the collection.





Spring 2008 RTW collection



Spring 2008 RTW collection includes the ideas of freehand painting , oversize brocade tux jackets and fantasy ball gowns. It is a quite innovative idea for Dolce & Gabbana since it have never try this out before. It suprised everyone who guessed what colour would it use. The main colour tones of this collection are fancy colours!



Fall 2008 RTW collection



Shearling coats ; poor-boy sweaters ; country-check shirts ; printed silk scarves

The main colour tones of this collection are white and burlywood.
